The babies are getting bigger according to i-am-pregnant.com! :-) Here's what they're up to this week:
Huge changes continue to take place within your developing baby. This week fat begins to form and will continue to do so until he is born. Fat is important to the body's heat production and metabolism. Right now, at 17 weeks, water makes up about 3 ounces and fat 0.018 ounces of your baby's body. In a baby at term, fat makes up about 5.25 pounds of the total average weight of 7.7 pounds. The placenta is continuing to grow at an amazing rate. The placenta will continue to develop in tandem with the fetus and it will weigh more than a pound at birth! By this week, the placenta is large and well established with a network of blood vessels that exchange nutrients and waste.
The eyes are facing more forward. The ears are now close to their final position.
Your baby is more flexible with ability to move head, mouth, lips, arms, wrists, hands, legs, feet, and toes.
Fingerprints are forming now.

I'm doing pretty good. I really have no complaints other than the "becoming normal" hip pain and round ligament pains. I'm thinking I am starting to get Braxton Hicks contractions here and there. I'm anxious to see how everything is going at our next Peri appointment next Wednesday. I'm also anxious to find out if our little Jocelyn is indeed a Jocelyn!! I feel pretty confident calling Walker - Walker. LOL I've been doing pretty good using their names when I talk to them or about them and that's helping me get used to the names. Nick LOVES the name Walker and it's taking some getting used to for me but it's growing on me and I'm sure it will suit him just perfect. I'm excited to feel more comfortable about our little girl. We're really getting going on the nursery set-up. We got both of the car seats last weekend. We also got a mattress for the crib we have set up. One more to go. :-) I think once we confirm the girl then I'll be really ready to get going more on the decorating. I feel weird buying anything for one of them without buying for the other but I want to buy some blue and pink!! LOL Anyway - all is well. I'm getting close to the half way point for a twin pregnancy so that is exciting!!

Wow...I can't believe you're 17 weeks already. CONGRATS!
I like the name Walker for your little boy...and I think it's so cute that you feel bad buying things for him and not her yet!
