Our "20 Week" appointment went really well. I was actually 19 weeks and 5 days but close enough. ;-) Both babies look great. Jocelyn was the active one and Walker was snoozing away. We saw him "kick" or stretch a couple times but Jocelyn was moving around like crazy. It was nice to confirm yet again that she's a girl. LOL We got a nice 3D face photo of her but Walker was facing away from the camera so we could only see the back of his head and his spine and legs so no good face shots. :-( The DR just gave us the 1 3D of Jocelyn and we're hoping for some good pics of both of them next time. I'm still doing really well. Cervical length is still 5cm so that is good news. No progesterone shots yet! The only thing they did take notice of was my blood pressure was a little high on the top number. It was 144/65. They said they're not concerned right now but they will keep an eye on it. He says we're over half way there so that was exciting to hear. Their goal with twins is 36 weeks so - 16 more weeks!!!! I can do it!! :-) Our next appointment is in 2 weeks - Aug. 12th. I'm getting pretty tired these days. Yesterday I came home from work because I was feeling dizzy I was so tired and I'm so glad I did because I felt worse as they day went on (even with several naps) and I had a horrible headache in the late afternoon. I'm feeling a bit better today although still exhausted. Maybe that part is just something I'm going to have to adjust to.
The Babies Progress:
Fetal development in pregnancy week 20: This week you're carrying about 10.5 inches and 10.5 ounces of solid baby-miracle-goodness! Their little delicates bones continue to ossify and toughen while their itsy bitsy finger and toe pads are finishing up. Your little monkey now has teeth buds, although they’re hidden beneath the gum line. And finally! Their limbs have reached their relative proportions—no more alien baby! Their cute pink lips are more defined, and might be helping out in a bit of prenatal thumb-sucking. If you have a little boy, then their tiny testes are descending, though they have not yet passed the abdominal wall. What’s more, eyelashes and eyebrows are also visible. At this point, your little one really looks like a miniature baby—and we do mean miniature as your little swimmer currently weighs a mere eighth of their final birth weight. With half the pregnancy behind you, the most significant gains are yet to come!
Here's the picture of Jocelyn from Tuesday. And no her head is not really cut off. LOL It's just the way the 3D machine works:

And last but not least here are my 20 Week Belly Shots:

Congrats on hitting the 1/2 way point, mama! The 3D image is cool - I love those. I hope my next U/S will allow us to see him in 3D again - last time that part of their U/S machine was not hooked up. Great belly shot too - you're definitely pregnant with multiples! :) Do you plan to take maternity leave from work? Going back to work after the babies are born or not?
Home daycare sounds great - perfect way to be home with the kids and bring in a little $!!!
