According to the IVF Due Date calculator I am due on Dec. 18th! That makes me 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant today. Seems kind of weird since I only put them back in on the 31st. ;-) BUT that's the way the medical world does it so.... Who am I to say they're wrong and it makes me feel like I'm closer to the finish line. :-)
I'm anxiously awaiting that ultrasound. Nine more days....blek. I wish it would hurry up. I'm antsy to find out how many are in there and make sure all is well. It may be too early to see the heartbeat(s) but it'd be fantastic if we are able to!! It would definitely give me a bit of peace of mind. I'm just trying to relax and enjoy the pregnancy for now. I also go to Acupuncture tonight for the first times since the day after transfer so I'm looking forward to that. It always seems to relax me a lot. :-) She wants to make sure I'm still "balanced". SO she can do whatever she needs to make sure that me and the little one(s) are safe and sound and growing happily.
Symptoms - well they're definitely there and it seems different than last time. They seem to have started a little earlier - well ok a lot earlier. Nausea off and on - more in the first part of the day than the latter. Some days it's worse than others and I've discovered (after hours of researching on the internet LOL) that is normal for symptoms to come and go especially in the early weeks. I've discovered all sorts of food that are on my do not eat list. Anything with red sauce is really iffy. Pizza is ok most of the time as long as pepperoni has not touched it. Not big on onions or a lot of any seasoning really. Everything just seems intensified to me. Probably why the pepperoni doesn't work too well. Boobs go back and forth with being heavy and tender and not hurting too much but definitely feeling "there". Peeing - alot. LOL I've been getting up at least once a night since probably 4 days after transfer. I'm SO tired. I think I really could sleep all day and all night - except for having to go pee. LOL And I'm really thirsty all the time - which isn't helping the pee. ;-) I'm still crampy off and on. Some days are worse than others. Still feels like "I'm going to get my period" cramps most of the time. I'm realizing this is still normal and I found a good explanation on one site - the uterus and muscles below it are stretching out. Also the shooting pains down the abdomen and leg is apparently worse when you've already been pregnant before because of relaxed tendons. Getting the sharp cramp when you stand up too fast is normal because of the relaxed tendons as well. All sorts of explanations when you're psycho like me and scour the internet for answers telling me I'm normal. LOL OH and I also have some low back pain off and on but nothing horrible. I'm sure there are other things but ?? not sure at the moment.
I'm very excited to get going on this pregnancy and feel very confident and secure that I'm holding at least one little baby in 9 months! :-) About 1 1/2 weeks till we find out the answer to my poll! Thanks everyone for voting!! Lots of twin votes!!
