This started as a blog about our journey in trying to conceive, IVF, the loss of our little angel, my pregnancy and birth of our twins, and our little surprise munchkin. Now we are all on a journey with the Army. This has become more of an update of our life but if you read from the beginning you will find info about our IVF experiences.

TWINS!!!!
Just a quick update - so far - we have TWINS!!!!! We saw two little heartbeats flickering on the screen! I will upload the picture tonight and the post should go out tomorrow morning. The ultrasound picture I have just shows two gestational sacs. When she was doing the ultrasound she could zoom in and she was measuring the little beans and we could see the two little heartbeats flickering. Dr. Doherty said that they are measuring on schedule (6 weeks) so that is good. We're praying we get to keep both of them!!! The ultrasound nurse is trying to keep us grounded and says right now we have two and that doesn't mean we will always have two. She said once we get to 10 weeks if we still have two then it's pretty set. SO I am praying and crossing my fingers that we make it all the way with these little ones. At least I can keep saying babies when I'm talking about them without wondering if I'm being silly. :-) Anyway - that is the update. As always we are cautiously excited but thrilled beyond words. I'm so thankful that we were able to see the heartbeats. They'll call in a bit with my bloodwork (hopefully all is well there) and then I'll go back in 2 weeks for my 8 week ultrasound and we'll be able to see the babies instead of just sacs on the picture. :-) Keep up the prayers guys - they're doing wonders!!!!
