My Doctor's appointment went great today! It was my first appointment with an actual OB. I'm seeing a perinatologist who is basically a high risk OB. He is really nice and I think I will be in very good care. Because of my preterm labor risk factors he's starting me on progesterone shots at 18 weeks that I will take once a week (and here I thought I was done with that stuff ;-) ). I told him once a week would be a breeze after all the shots I was used to. I go back in 3 weeks for my 18 week detailed u/s so my next appointment will be July 16th. We got to see the babes in 4D! That was so cool. They are so close together now it's just unreal. The Doc is very happy with how they look. We also found out the sexes!!!! Well one of the babies for sure and the other one we're pretty sure. Drum roll please..... :-D

The doc said unless she sprouts a penis by the next ultrasound we've got ourselves one of each! I'm beyond excited!! The regular ultrasound pictures didn't turn out great because they weren't cooperating for some nice profile shots so I'll just attach the 4D one. That one isn't very good either because one of them is covering it's face with it's arm (can't remember which is which!! I was too excited!) but you can kind of see it smiling. The other one has it's back to the camera. I can see they are going to be stubborn like their daddy and brother already. ;-)

Congratulations on your two beautiful babes!! Isn't it so exciting to find out the gender and to get a glimpse into who these little people are!! I am thrilled for you :)
