32 weeks 1 day - Appointment & Ultrasound Pics

We had our 32 week appointment today. It went pretty well. The babies look great. The DR said they are still growing at the same rate as a singleton - so nice big babies. :-) Walker is approximately 4 lbs 3oz or 4oz (it was right in between). Jocelyn is approximately 3 lbs 15 oz. Walker's heartrate was 154 and Jocelyn's was 150. They haven't changed positions at all. Walker is still breech and Jocelyn is still transverse. The ultrasound tech said they kind of form a T right now (with Jocelyn laying across on top and Walker head up). The DR said he has personally never seen any twins switch position after 32 weeks especially with the size they are and the size I am (5'1). They're definitely running short on room. Little Walker's nose is squished up against the membrane that seperates him and Jocelyn.

My cervical length was somewhere between 3.5 and 4.1 depending on how she measured it. She said she's pretty sure it's closer to 4. Thankfully all these stronger contractions and pressure aren't doing anything to my cervix. I'm apparently just feeling very heavy because these babies are heavy!! LOL I have 8 lbs of baby in there plus 2 amniotic sacs and 2 placentas. My son was only 7 lbs 1 oz so I'm over that now. I'm amazed my body is doing as good as it is. I went into preterm labor ith my son at 30 weeks and so far I'm holding out good with these guys. I think I can honestly contribute that to being home and laying down on the couch the majority of the day. I think it's really helped. :-) My blood pressure was also down to 114/78 which is pretty darn good. It surprised me though because my stress level was pretty high (teenager stuff...) and I was swollen like the stuffed marshmallow woman (my hands hurt it was so bad). It seems like on the days I feel my worst (definitely one of those days today) my blood pressure is the best. Does my body like stress?? LOL We did a nonstress test (NST) today also. I actually had a few little contractions and one good one while hooked up (I was kind of afraid my body would try to make me a liar LOL). The babies hearts reacted very good to the contractions so that is a great sign. Apparently that is now a part of our weekly appointments. Our next appointment is next Wednesday. And here are some great pictures of our babies!! We finally got some pretty good ones of our camera shy little Walker. This first one is a pretty good side view:

This second one is pretty blurry but it's kind of cute with his fingers up there:

Here's little Jocelyn's pictures. She has the perfect little pouty lips going on. I'm sure she'll use them on her daddy!! ;-)

This one is pretty close to the same thing but it's just a little different so I figured I'd include it :-)
