As I come to the end of this wonderful pregnancy I am definitely thankful for every moment. Appropriately they'll come near Thanksgiving and WOW do we have a lot to be thankful for this year! My favorite moments during this pregnancy are of course feeling them move, feeling their adorable little hiccups, listening to their heart beats, and seeing them on the many ultrasounds we've been lucky enough to have. I've had many food issues. For the most part I would live on cereal if I could. For the 1st trimester my favorite food was cheerios with bananas in it. I ate that all the time. Any meat pretty much turned my stomach. Steak and chicken have been the worst through this whole pregnancy. The 1st trimester I even hated peanut butter so I tried to get my protein through protein shakes (Boost). The 2nd trimester was a bit better. I still really didn't do meat and loved cereal. By this time I'd moved to Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch. I couldn't get enough of it! I actually have finally moved on from the Cap'n Crunch as of this past weekend but I still love cereal. LOL
I will stop in and update my blog after I get my amnio results tomorrow. They said it takes 2-3 hours to get back to me with the big news so I'm guessing it will be around 2pm or so before I hear. I'll be on pins and needles all freakin day! This weekend is super clean weekend. Really I can't do a whole lot but Nick is planning on doing super clean (his turn to nest) to get everything ready for the babies to come home!! I can't believe it's finally this close! WOO HOO!!!!
Here's our little munchkins updates for 36 weeks:
The countdown continues… and in fetal developments: most of the bones (soft skull aside) in their little body are now completely hardened, providing a solid structure from which they can now make their grand debut into the world. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we are structurally ready for a secure launch. In physical fitness news: their muscle tone has also improved over these past few weeks, and you’ll definitely be impressed by their steel-like Ulnar grasp (a newborn reflex that occurs if you lay your finger in their palm). And in genital development: if you’re having a girl, her labia are now fully developed. Finally, in the fluids/excretion department: the amniotic fluid-to-baby ratio has fallen over these past weeks, although they’re still swallowing fluid (building up even more meconium for that historic first poop), and some vernix caseosa. They will be more than ready to swallow and digest milk after birth. Just in case you didn’t get it quite yet: you’ve got yourself an adorable and hungry 6.5 lbs 20 inch baby—are you ready?
Here's my belly pics for the day:

My VERY droopy belly. And yes it does feel as heavy as it looks!!
