This started as a blog about our journey in trying to conceive, IVF, the loss of our little angel, my pregnancy and birth of our twins, and our little surprise munchkin. Now we are all on a journey with the Army. This has become more of an update of our life but if you read from the beginning you will find info about our IVF experiences.

We have a date!!!
I had my 35 week appointment today and it went pretty well. The babies were a bit on the lazy side and we got the buzzer!! I've never experienced that before. They weren't waking up and doing what the ultrasound tech wanted them to do so the DR came in with this thing that he put on my belly and it let off a buzz and gave my belly a jolt. That sure woke them up (and me!). I still have had no dilation so nothing to exciting happening. My DR was just about ready to walk out of the room and I said - SO when can we set the date for the c-section? (Walker is still breech and Jocelyn is oblique transverse). The nurse just laughed and said you better sit down - she wants a date. I said I need an end date. I hurt so bad. SO he said I can come in next Friday (11/21) for an amnio and as long as that comes out good we can do the c-section either the day before or after Thanksgiving (he's out all next week and the day before Thanksgiving he comes back). I of course said the day before!! SO he said if the amnio is good then we'll do that. The nurse went ahead and scheduled me for my c-section on Nov. 26th at noon!!!!! I'll be one day shy of 37 weeks so that should be good. I keep telling myself I can totally do a week and a half. I'm just going to lay on the couch and try to keep my stress level down (with an almost 17 year old that's been a little rough lately) and keep these babies in until my scheduled date. I really want my own DR to deliver. Anyway - I'm excited!!!!
