Our FET Plan - Ultrasound Results

I went to my checkup today and I am definitely feeling nervous now. It went well I guess. It looked like there was a triple stripe on the screen but I couldn't tell how thick the lining was. My doc was busy so I got the nurse. This is the same nurse who did the ultrasound when we found out we lost our little one so I try really hard not to hold it against her. :-) She didn't tell me the actual measurement of the lining and when I asked how it looked she said so-so. I asked her about how many they thought I should transfer as I want to do 3 and what their grades were. She said that thawing is the most difficult thing for embryos so we'll have to wait and see how they thaw. She did tell me that I have 1 pronuclear and 4 multi-celled embryos. Well after some research I discovered that pronuclear means 1 cell! ONE?? SO I'm kind of freaked out about that thinking well was it a super slow developer?? Why is it only 1 cell? Maybe they froze it early?? In any case I did find out 2 things from http://www.advancedfertility.com/ about pronuclear embryos:

Embryos can be frozen at the pronuclear stage (one cell), or at any stage after that up to and including the blastocyst stage (5-7 days after fertilization)

and

Embryo survival rates after thawing and pregnancy rates in most IVF programs are highest for embryos that were frozen at the pronuclear stage, or at the 2-cell to 4-cell stage

SO that gives me some hope I guess. My plan is: Stay on Estrace - 4 pills a day (that is 8mg). I also start the PIO (progesterone) shots tonight - 1cc/day. They are going to thaw the pronuclear embryo tomorrow and call me to let me know how that little one is doing (YIKES! NERVES ARE UP!!). Then on Wednesday they will thaw the other 4 multi-celled embryos and call me with how they are doing. Right now - if all goes well and they thaw and keep growing (PLEASE PLEASE KEEP GROWING!!!!) - I will be transferring on Friday or Saturday. We'll hopefully know more on Wednesday.

This is completely nervewracking. I think moreso than waiting for the fertilization report with the fresh IVF. I don't know why really. I am really praying and crossing my fingers that all goes well. Please keep us and our little ones in your prayers! We'll take everything we can get!!

***Update*** Nurse just called back and said they were wrong...that all 5 embryos are multi-celled so they won't be thawing any tomorrow. They'll thaw all 5 on Wednesday and will call me with how they do. My guess is since they froze them on day 3 maybe they're growing them to blastocysts??
