This started as a blog about our journey in trying to conceive, IVF, the loss of our little angel, my pregnancy and birth of our twins, and our little surprise munchkin. Now we are all on a journey with the Army. This has become more of an update of our life but if you read from the beginning you will find info about our IVF experiences.

We got the green light!!!!
I'm a tad bit excited :-) We got the green light to go ahead with the IVF! We had our baseline ultrasound and bloodwork this morning and everything looks good. We start shots tomorrow evening and they're starting me on 5 vials of Repronex per night (375 iu)! That's definitely an increase from last time. I couldn't remember exactly what I started with last time but I'm thinking it was 3 because I found a post that said they upped me to 4 vials. Woooieeee! That's a lot. I am hoping I don't need anymore cause money is a little tight. She said to take 5 vials of powder to 1cc of water so that's going to be one potent shot! I do that Tue, Wed, and Thur and then I go back in for a follicle check on Friday morning. Well I got over the first hurdle which is huge! I was a little nervous because I spotted while taking the BCP for about 4 days so I was concerned about when my period would come. It showed up right on time but it's VERY VERY light with horrible cramps. I don't even know how that works. Maybe my body thinks it needs to get rid of a lining that is non-existent due to the spotting?? Who knows. The ultrasound and blood work came out good so that's really all that matters. Now that we're ok there I'm going to take a good sigh of relief and move on with Project Relaxation to make baby/ies! Starting tomorrow (since I didn't get to today) I'm going to be majorly increasing my protein. I'm also going to make time EVERY day for yoga and meditation. I've been a little bad lately just doing it here and there. OH - I did have my Swedish massage on Sunday. That was AMAZING! So worth it and I think she worked out a good deal of tension in my muscles. She warned me to drink tons of water since there were a lot of toxins released. I knew that one but then my sister said I might get sick due to the toxins and that freaked me out so I drank at least 80 oz of water yesterday!! That should do it right? I need to pick up the pace today. I'm only at 32 oz so far. Anyway - I'm very excited we can get started. :-)
